Data Processing Subjects
The Data Controller, according to current laws, is the site administrator, Dr. Fabio Bruno, located at Bienenstrasse 7- 8004 Zurich (Switzerland), email ciao@fabbruno.com.
Legal Basis for Processing
This site exclusively uses technical cookies, so no consent is required from the site visitor.
However, the computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers and terminals used by users, URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment.
These data, necessary for the use of web services, are also processed to:
– Obtain statistical information on the use of the services (most visited pages, number of visitors by time or day, geographical areas of origin, etc.);
– Check the correct functioning of the site.
Furthermore, data provided directly by the user through the voluntary, explicit, and optional sending of email messages to the addresses indicated on this site or when the user sends messages to the Data Controller are collected. The collected data include the sender’s email address and/or phone number necessary to respond to requests, as well as any additional personal data provided in the communication. These data are used solely to respond to the user’s requests and to improve the site to better meet users’ needs.
The provision of data and thus consent to the collection and processing of data are optional. The user can refuse consent and can revoke consent already given at any time.
Data for site security and the prevention of abuse and SPAM, as well as data for traffic analysis (statistics) in aggregate form, are processed based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller to protect the site and its users.
Purpose of Data Processing
The processing of data collected by the site, in addition to purposes connected, instrumental, and necessary for the provision of the service, is aimed at the following purposes:
– Statistics (analysis)
Collecting data and information in an exclusively aggregated and anonymous form to verify the correct functioning of the site. None of these information is related to the site visitor, and they do not allow in any way the identification of the user. Consent is not required.
– Security
Collecting data and information to protect the security of the site (anti-spam filters, firewalls, virus detection) and users, and to prevent or uncover fraud or abuse to the detriment of the website. The data are recorded automatically and may also include personal data (IP address) that could be used, in compliance with applicable laws, to block attempts to damage the site itself or to harm other users or otherwise harmful or criminal activities. These data are never used for the identification or profiling of the user and are periodically deleted. Consent is not required.
– Additional Activities
Communicating data to third parties performing functions necessary or instrumental to the operation of the service and allowing third parties to perform technical, logistical, and other activities on our behalf. The suppliers have access to personal data only to the extent necessary for the performance of their functions and in accordance with applicable laws.
